Charity are excited at this chance to contribute. As our form of participation, we will have a booth for the collection of unused medications. If you flush your unused hormones, sedatives, or antibiotics down the toilet, they wind up in our drinking water. If you put them in the garbage, they wind up in the landfill, and find their way into the ground water.
We will ask people who plan to attend to clean out their medicine cabinets, and bring their old medications to the event. We, in turn, will collect and dispose of them as hazardous waste according to the proper protocol.
In addition, Water Charity will do a series of presentations on the world water problems, and the solutions at hand.
